A prequel to the original Dune, it tells how the Rossak sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The instance where Valya Harkonnen uses the voice is from an event called “Mentats of Dune”. All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentati, the Navigators and the Suk Doctors.

However, your expectations must be realistic

I’ve been looking forward to Dune: Prophecy ever since I first heard about it. Then I saw the trailers and my excitement grew even more. Well, after seeing it, I can say that it definitely lived up to my expectations.

You don’t want to wait a week between episodes, it’s that good

If you’re expecting something as perfect as the films directed by Dennis Villenueve, you’ll be disappointed, but if you go into it just expecting a perfectly paced, engrossing series that keeps you thoroughly invested in every episode, you’ll love it. The world building that takes place and the attention to every detail is as good as a TV show can get. This series is best viewed as a binge because I can promise that once you finish an episode, you won’t be able to wait for the next one to start.
