Chronology

Media mogul Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after being caught in a murder deep in the underworld. Colman Domingo’s first major TV role. I enjoyed the beginning of the series, but I think the ending fell flat for me. The series tried to wrap up the plot on a more positive note, but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. Watching episodes 6-7 felt like a chore. I especially enjoyed this message in this extremely polarizing climate. I would have liked a second season if they could improve the writing/plotting, but if this is truly just a limited series, I think they missed the point and that’s why I gave it a 7. I wanted more, but I’m not sure if that’s because this season deserves another season or because I feel bad for them and want to give them a second chance.
