Chronology

KJ and Dan struggle to communicate. A few years into a romance, the couple head to a friend’s cabin for the weekend to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, rat trapped in a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle it, with KJ advocating for a quick death and Dan suggesting that the rat’s final moments be as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this beautiful setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a little woman who can only be charitably described as “eccentric” – she’s their host’s younger sister and no one knew anyone was staying at the family home. It’s okay to bump into her, right? As the couple struggles to contain this intruder on an already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan worry that this obnoxious third wheel could be more of a threat to their relationship than they are.
